Kumkumadi Thailam
A sublime fusion of saffron oil and tropical herbs, this facial elixir deeply nourishes the skin while enhancing radiance.
Steeped in myth and tradition, Kumkumadi Thailam traces its origins to the Ashwini Kumaras, the celestial healers in Hindu mythology who first bestowed its secret. Celebrated in classical Ayurvedic texts such as Ashtanga Hridayam and Bhaisajya Ratnavalli, the elixir was later refined by Chola dynasty physicians, who perfected the balance of sandalwood and saffron. Carried by travelers and even diluted during colonial times, it finally found renewed brilliance in the 20th-century revival of Ayurveda.
Today, this timeless potion remains cherished for its luminous, rejuvenating touch, with traditional rituals of application preserving its ancient essence in modern luxury skincare. What we bring to you is a classic in wholistic skincare that has been used for centuries.

Before bedtime, wash and clean your face well and let it dry.

Release 5 drops of the thailum (or oil) on your face — ideally on your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin.

Go to bed leaving the oil on.

Wash it off the next day morning before you perform your morning face routine or head out.

Note: Kumkumadi thailam is photo sensitive so make sure to wash it off before you head out into the sun. Repeat at least every alternate night for best results.
